I made my first visit here yesterday and was pleasently surprised by the quality of the food, beer and atmosphere. We spent a very enjoyable evening and found the regulars welcoming. We did not eat, but the food looked good from a distance. We will be coming back to try out the food and spend a sunny afternoon in the beer garden.

Since the new managers have taken over this pub has gone from strength to strength. Great food, cracking staff and a friendly comfortable atmosphere! A mixture of ages frequents the pub which is reassuring. They also have a huge beer garden out the back which has been vastly improved in the past few months. This pub is a true little Olde English gem!

This pub has recently gone under new management and what a great little pub this now is. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is really welcoming and friendly. Spent a Saturday night there a few weeks back and there was live music and it was a really fun packed evening. Top pub.

Cracking pub, great food and have spent many Sundays nursing a pint and savouring a splendid roast. Very friendly and a great atmosphere.
Will be back without a doubt. The new owners deserve nothing but success.

Went on Sunday for a long and v enjoyable roast lunch. Beer is well-kept and tasty. Great atmosphere in the pub with its roaring log fire and friendly locals sitting around the bar. New landlords (5 weeks) and much improvement already.
