New management have certainly done a good job on the place - a nice new paint job outside and a spruce-up generally inside.

Now sells two rotating guest ales from the pubcos list. Quality has been relatively good so far and the choices interesting. Sports shown the TV, so might be good for a few ales with the football.

Worth trying out again.

Second visit. Had Sunday lunch with family. Roast beef with with roast potatoes, youkshires, choice of veg., followed by coice of puds and free glass of rose wine (special for mothers day), The food was excellent, very good value for money at £5.95 per head. Very friendly people. Well worth a visit.

Red Lion has now been open for just over one week, the refurbishment is great and gives it a welcoming atmosphere. The beer is good and I enjoyed the Courage Best and Directors. Although the menu is limited at the moment my omlette and chips was very good value. IThe pub is well worth a visit.
