| Nothing bad to say about this pub.There is a mixture of young and old and everybody seems friendly.The Thatchers used to have a play area which is why there were kids every where.This has now been replaced by a room where the younger people tend to sit.Staff are always happy and smiling but know when to be firm if there is trouble.overall brilliant pub especially in the summer. anonymous - 22 Oct 2006 23:18 |

| Shocking pub. I used to be a regular but stopped going in when the standard of clientelle dropped through the floor. You can often see young children, toddlers and even babies with their parents, in the bar late on a friday night running around barefoot in the very very smokey and hot conditions. | Nice enough place that serves the usual array of lagers and other drinks. Not sure whether I'd eat there, but there is a large beer garden which is great to sit in in the summer and the quiz on a tuesday night is quite good fun too.
