Thought we would try the crown, as I believe in supporting local pubs & restaurants. Booked a table at 8.30 arrived 5 min beofre only to be told that the table had been taken, then after finding us seats we were then at 8.45we were told we had 5 min left to order. After having 3 corses finishing at 9.55 the pub had cleared and we were the only table remaining we decided as it was a friday night to enjoy a drink after dinner the staff were displeased at this and while sitting having out drink 10..10 the lights were being turned off and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. All in all I WOULD NOT bother going again. Very unprofessional and should not be running a pub ! NorthNorfolkReview - 19 Jul 2010 13:29
I spent a few days there recently so I simply had to call in. We were very impressed. The staff were nice (which is a HUGE plus in my book) and the beer was high quality. All 3 were from the Greene King range, it would have been nice to see a guest from another brewery there but the fact it was well kept was the main thing. Will definitely go back there next time I'm around. jarofporter - 5 Aug 2009 22:41
Spent a weekend in Colkirk recently. The Crown is an excellent pub which allows dogs in and serves up excellent food. Good choice of beer and wine and really friendly and smart staff. One of the best pubs in a long while angelamelia - 24 Mar 2009 16:12
Busy Greene King pub (Saturday evening)- very friendly landlord. Wood burner in main bar area. 3 real ales, guest ale Bateman's XXXB. Food prices average. Overall a very pleasant pub. Martin77 - 9 Dec 2007 21:08
In a county where, sadly, pubs are disappearing, this is a lively and comfortable hostelry. Some good beers to choose from and excellent food; well worth a visit for an evening meal. LondonFootsteps - 1 Feb 2006 11:11
