All a bit municipal really. Not terrible. Not great. Just a bit dull. Stripped of any Factory DNA, this is a very ordinary pub.

Now infested with the aristocracy of Chavdom. In fact, I believe I saw the Earl of Eccles, renown smack dealer and "security consultant" with his entourage of knights of the ASBO, in the doorway. The way they park illegally on the pavement is really impressive. It just screams: "Drink here!" - Used to be a half decent place.

This used to be a really cool place (aprtly due to the assocation with its owners), but I somehow never really enjoyed going out there. Havent been for a long time but hope to try it again soon.

Used to be one of the coolest bars in Manchester. Now it's a bit dodgy.

Good points: quite open, lots of seating, decent selection of beers, not bad music while we were there.

Bad points: a little smelly, a high scally quotient (which may relate to the smell), not half as good as it used to be.

IT'S GOT A REALLY LONG BAR!!! Great place to go and chill for most nights of the week, and factastic for live entertainment.

A must go to bar.
