Adnams pub. Bit trendy, caters for the younger crowd. Had a pint of Explorer which was ok but a bit cold.

Visited this pub at the weekend. Not very often you get the chance to sample Adnams ales whilst listening to Brazilian Acid Jazz...

The place had a great atmosphere with large tables, lots of conversation and a young and trendy crowd. I didnt sample the food...

Sampled some Adnams beers, which were all well kept apart from the Broadside which really smelted off that night.. and tasted like cough medicine. The purity ales looked good but ran out which is a shame.

Overall, I liked this place, mainly for the cool atmosphere which is great when you want a night out with your mates and a good laugh.

This place had a series of short-lived tenants as the St Andrews Tavern but in the past year or so has been renamed and tidied up. It is now a great pub with a good range of beers (if Purity's Mad Goose is on try it!) including Meantime, Adnams and guests. Pie & mash was pretty good too. If you like decent real ale pubs, you'll like it here.

Went in here last night for a quick pint, the 1st time for a long time and the place is looking a lot better than before. There's been no major changes but it has a far cosier feel about it. There was a lot of people in which is a good sign (I think there may have been a band playing later). The beer I had was very nice. Still selling Adnams with a couple of guest beers. The outside area for smoking is very plesant, they even provide a blanket for cold nights.
