Banks's Original on keg @ 2.35 a pint - totally agree with the previous reviewer plenty of punters who very likely appreciate some real ale

The Thorns is a classic place to go to eat, the carvery in particular being excellent value.
Beer wise it is sadly all keg, Bankss mild, bitter and curiously mansfield smooth. This is a shame as the pub is very busy, and I am sure they would have enough punters who would enjoy some real ale.
There is lots of entertainment in the evening here also, tribute acts etc.

Newly refurbished pub with the best carvery around for miles...well worth a visit. Entertainment on most nights with late night openings on a Friday and a Saturday until MIDNIGHT !!!!
