This is the second time I've been here, both times to see the fabulous Ronnies (check em out) and both times had a cracking night. The pub is a strange layout for live entertainment, because you can't see the band from a large part of the pub, and certainly not if you want to sit down... mind you with the Ronnies thats not for long. The staff were friendly, and very helful, helping us to organise taxi's etc, and we were made to feel welcome. The loo's could do with a bit of doing up to be honest, but overall this was a great night out, and nothing like some of the negative comments on here. bestdays - 9 Mar 2008 19:57
Oh my goodness what a dump - avoid like the plague. Nothing good to say about it. Dirty, dark and foul. giftedandtalented - 15 Feb 2008 15:01

Having not been terribly impressed with this place last time I went past, and kept on going, I recently strolled past again. Not as bad as I thought last time. Smokers outside, as required by Nanny State. Clientele more normal-looking than before - but I still didn't go in. Not that Coulsdon is exactly thronged with good boozers, anyway, but it has many varied eateries, many good. railtracksurvivor - 13 Oct 2007 19:12
