| Managed to get in for lunch, it was open this time The interior is OK, nice & warm on a cold day. The lunch menu seems pricey for the specials, any way we opted for Ploughmans and prawn sandwich with chips. Both OK but nothing special to mention about them I fancied a London Pride, but as I had visits in afternoon thought a lower strength beer would be a better idea, so had a Gales "Butser" as Gales was my local brewery until closed by Fullers. Again it was OK but I'm sure the Pride would have been better My companion had coffee, which she said was awful Ample free parking, which is one plus I guess So, generally it was OK, and if stuck then it would do but if you know somewhere better, like the Wellington in Marlborough then go there shiner - 13 Dec 2007 18:58 |
