| This is a good old fashioned pub with great staff and a wide range of drinks. They do a small range of real ales on the pump, the ones we had were very well kept. At first glance the menu looks like cafe food BUT we had the mixed grill and it was superb. The steak was perfectly cooked and you could see the high meat content in the sausages. The drinks and food are very reasonably priced. The pub is clean and has a very friendly atmosphere. I would go as far as to say it is the best pub I have been to in Crawley. danishdish - 1 Jul 2010 17:21 |

| I have seen some good bands in her recently, and the staff are fair and quick. There is no real ale, but they do sell a range of bottled beers from smaller breweries, so not a complete desert. bradwan - 26 Mar 2009 20:46 |
| the decor has been updated and looks really modern and from a girl's point of view - very pretty, ha! it's definitely changed in the clientele for young people though. but still worth going along to for a drink on a weekday. msdoom - 14 Apr 2008 10:50 |
| I remember The Rocket as a great place to socialise in the early 70's. Fred and Lesley were great hosts. Steve Cheesman - where are you? Would love to get in touch. No bands then but plenty of raids from a nice (not) man in blue called Lipscombe???!!! Plenty of beer, food and good company. Wish I was able to visit it again.
