The beer was fine but the bar had no atmosphere and the barstaff weren't that interested in the customers. I've nothing against cafe style pubs but this was featureless and a bit grubby. We ate there - the food was just about adequate.

Tried to call in on Saturday 7th March, but for some reason it was closed at about 3.30

Visited last month when doing a crawl round Sheffield and although still basically empty, the beer range has improved. Enjoyed a Sheffield and Ramsbury beer. Like the terrace outside looking over the river.

welcomed with a distinct smell of faeces as soon i i entered the pub! has gone down hill since the recent departure of the last manager. new management seems incompetent. selection of beers and ales are mediocre to ok when they have any. entertainment is very old fashioned and dull from what i have seen. sunday carvery looks nothing like it does on the website. food in general is ok. staff are mostly pleasent, but they all look very tatty, some have hygiene problems! could be a great family place.....but isnt! 1/10
