Sad to say this pub has now closed and is currently being converted into flats. Another of Bosworth's pubs ceases to be a community drinking hole.

Local pub for local people. Not unfriendly, but nothing in it would entice me away from Red Lion

Unfortuntely after Hannah left the 'Bill' went down hill and now most people drink in the Red Lion if you want a decent pint. If you want average beer then thats what you get but there again I'm no fan of Marston beers. In the evenings it is frequented by - how shall I put it- very young drinkers.

Speculation is rife over the future of this top pub. The local rag has been reporting the landlord has agreed to sell the King Bill for the development of flats, an accusation he firmly denied when we politely enquired.

Sport shown in the bar alongside a pool table, with a more relaxed lounge round the back & a small garden. Was the only bar in the village to open on Christmas Day & this accommodating style, some beautifully kept ale & affordable grub would doubtlessly be sorely missed should this piece of Bosworth's history succumb to the evil property developers.

A traditional boozer with good early doors. Best kept cellar of the 4 pubs in Market Bosworth. Pedigree and Marstons Bitter can excell. Good variety and rotation of guest beers. Many events organised by landlady including trips and theme nights. Always willing to open for sporting events particularly early kick-off rugby (e.g. 7.00am)when an excellent full breakfast is laid on at reasonable cost. Food generally good, wholesome and cheap being aimed at the lower end of the market. Discount for pensioners Wednesday.
