Serve very good and reasonably priced basic English meals (egg and chips etc). This is the pub featured in the BBC TV series 'The Tower' - subtitled 'A Tale of Two Cities' - shown on BBC1 in summer 2007. (The series focuses on nearby Aragon Tower, which overlooks the river and which was refurbished by developers Berkeley Homes after they bought it from Lewisham Council.)
