Had the misfortune of having lunch here yesterday.
staff were down right rude and management non existent!!
I would not recommend either the staff, the venue or the menu to anyone.
Avoid at all costs.

This pub is under new management with the chef/co-owner, Philip Barnes, previously having been the Head Chef at The Bean Cross when it was popular. The change in the Stables in the last couple of months is immense. It is now friendly and welcoming. The service is excellent, the food is first class with menu choices varied regularly and containing old favourites alongside new dishes to suit all appetites. The venue has theme nights with live music on Saturdays which have proved very popular. Can't speak highly enough of the positive experience we had during Easter weekend here.

Have only sampled the place one Saturday lunchtime. Service could have been a little more attentive. Restaurant area was not in use so we used the bar at the rear where we had drinks only. A bog-standard pub but a cut above other establishments in the Stenhousemuir area!

I think the Stables a well decorated pub and has an ablosutley fabulous atmosphere even given all the drunken regulars in the bar area who think they own the pub! The only dissapionting thing coming from there is the lack of respect from the management staff and the length of time customers are left waiting for custom.
