| R.I.P O'Neill's Nottingham!!! O'Neill's closed on October 20th to be turned into a cheesy 80s bar 'Reflex'. That pub will never be the same again, it has lost a great manager in Gerry, and a great team of friendly bar staff who always took time out to go out of their way for customers. The food was good, cheaper and alot better quality than pubs like Wetherspoons, and the service was great too. This pub attracted alot of regulars due to Gerry and the staff, and will be missed by many people, who won't be going there now that its only open during the evening, won't be doing o'neill's food, and will attract a totally different clientele. | Excellent food and beer, friendly staff and doorman, I agree Gerry is a topdog, will be a great shame when its closed down, also not happy with appalling way that Mitchells & Butlers have treated there best Manager that they have in Nottingham. Ian - 17 Oct 2003 14:54 |
