| Honestly, who cares about 'real ale'? The place has got a good atmosphere, good craic, friendly staff and an okay range of beers. Never seems to be any trouble and is packed out on Friday/Saturday nights. Good place. jc1979 - 15 Jul 2010 22:08 |

| Yes, have to agree with the previous posters. No real ale even though the sign says 'Cask Conditioned Ales'. Seemed to only have national beers and lagers on. Didn't stop for a drink. There are far better pubs in Kendal. zipdiskdude - 18 Oct 2009 12:03 |
| Went in as it said "cask ales" on the sign outside. That should be amended to read "rubbish pressurised lager type stuff" as there were no real ales on pump. We didn't stay for a drink! slugbreff - 31 Aug 2009 18:20 |
