Went here because we saw that it had won a national award. It is like stepping back... Called in for lunch yesterday. Continues to rank as my most favourite pub. Food well... Cannot find fault with this pub and can only echo previous comments. Also worth noting... Really enjoyed a cold December Saturday night here. Really friendly staff found four...	Rating: 8.5/10

A great village pub, serving superbly kept Adnams Southwold bitter. The food was... The Royal Oak would be an excellent village pub except for one thing. It shares... Friendly and lively pub on my last visit (a Saturday early evening). Three real ales... closed again, supposed to re-open before may bank holiday but nothing happening...	Rating: 7.0/10
