Food and beer ok. Got to recommend it for the prices. Will be back.

Now known as Molloys and not noticeably Irish. Probably is unfair to review a bar on a Friday just before Christmas as it was hardly a typical evening.
The place was heaving. Served a quite disgusting pint of supposedly Caffreys at first. Stella was Ok. Had a bit of a dance to get into the Christmas party vibe

A fairly typical ONeils no doubt, situated just off the centre. Lots of wood around the place and fake Irish stuff about, like a sign saying Fresh Irish Sourdough Bread sold here. What??

It was fairly quiet on a recent Monday evening, with most of the punters that were in there being left over from the quiz that had been running. I actually found the service to be fine, but then it was quiet and I assume it was probably the manager who served me, he looked a bit more sensible and wasnt dressed in the identical black t-shirts that all the other young staff were wearing. No doubt its different on a busy Friday or Saturday, when they also have live music apparently.

There was a fairly uninspiring menu consisting primarily of steaks, burgers, sandwiches, etc. with lots of notes about how proud they are of their Irish ingredients. Prices looked reasonable with most of the mains around the 5/6 mark, but we didnt try it so cant comment on the quality.

No real ales on unfortunately, unless you count Smithwicks Irish Ale, whatever that it. Four ciders on tap, but all broadly similar Magners (of course), Bulmers, Gaymers and Blackthorn. Why go to the trouble of stocking four ciders, but not offer any variety?

i went into this "pub" last saturday and still cant believe how i was served. it was a busy night but on ordering a vodka and coke the bar man picked the ice out of the bucket with his hand, when i complained and said i wanted a fresh drink he got really pissie and slammed the new drink infront of me. he also said to another barmaid that if anyone wanted a vodka and coke use this one. i dont know why i keep going back there, if any one can think of anywhere a forty something bloke can have a late drink on a saturday with out lots of screaming kids about please let me know

Visited yesterday under sufferance because of the day that was in it. All I could say is if I owned a pancake making shop, would I choose to give my worst portayal of my business on Pancake Tuesday??? Because these misfits had to be seen to be believed. On St Patricks day in your stereotypical "oirish" pub you think they would have had enough staff, enough glasses,Guinness that had more black in the glass than white,an irish band................

Some fella even went berserk at the bar cos the barman was serving the nearest tits at all times. I was there 20,YES 20 mins. And he was there before me.

What a shambles. And the Smithwicks was 3 a pt.

It's an O'Niells!

I've been unfortunate to visit the O'Niells in Bath and also the one in Liverpool! They are Paddys worst nightmare! Stay away from them! AAAAArrgghh!

If Terry Wogan was a pub he would be a O'Niells pub! It's not even a pub - it's not even a bar. It's...

...barbaric!!! I actually know people who like O'Niells! And yes, they are morons!

this bar has serious discrimination to asian from manager's rubbish attitude!!!! it was a terrible experience for a foreigner. i have been many Irish pubs in this world, including dublin's.. this is the worst irish pub i have ever been. not mention about no service, it's the discrimination about the manager's attitude toward asians. shame on him! can you image a short and thin guy, claimed himself as a manager, putting his 2 arms on his waist and standing behind the bar and looking down you...then saying no to your whatever request? i would never back to this pub, only if they fired that rude manager.
