user reviews of Oceana, Swansea

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Considering Oceana has really only been open around 5/6 and given the fact that we've suddenly shot up the premiership ladder with the footie you'd think businesses and especially the likes of Oceana would at least make some sort off effort.
Bar quarter looks fab all boarded up and looking like a squat. And by God those night club carpets are stinking. Though I must say that though the beer isn't to good I found that on the very few occasions that I have been there the staff have been very polite and efficient.
especially one bar maid that didn't look as if she would reach the bar. Bless. Linzy or Lucy or something like that I think she called herself. Very polite.

Had some funky nights in this place for sure.
Staff give quick service, but even when its mad busy we have a great time........

Probably got the best value Sunday Lunch in the City Centre at the moment, 6:95 for a stunning Carvery, with as much Beef / Turkey as you can eat, and a vast amount of vegetables to compliment the meal. All of which are superbly cooked and presented, and the venue itself is spotlessy clean, and the staff are really helpful as well. Certainly deserves a high rating on here, I think.

Just re-opened as Oceana, with 10 Bars inside the place. Can't really call it a Pub anymore I suppose....

Currently closed, and boarded off, with a massive development going on, both inside and all around it, looks like there will be a few new Pubs, Clubs and Restuarants here in the near future.....

Its a pub for old men in the daytime and students at night. If you are not included in these category dont go as you wont really like it. Great offers for students to be honest. Great place to get drunk before going to the clubs next door. Very student orientated!!!!

A good traditional family orientated venue. Great Atmosphere with a wide range of Drinks. They show all Sport on thier screens and have the option of playing commentary. The menu's really good, and the prices are very good. Thier mid week offers on Drinks are the cheapest in Swansea. Excellent Pub!

Let's face it, you're not going to get too much sophistication in a Swansea city centre pub. If you're going out along the Kingsway, you know what you want, and this place provides it. Packed in the evenings, can take ages to get served, but they do incredibly cheap deals. Not somewhere to go for a quiet pint!, but if you're in a large group then it's a great place to have a laugh.

Another tacky fake wood pub. Cheap though, 2 4 5 on lunches on sundays! Best hangover cure known to man!

Dump. Beer is awful and at weekends it's full of teenagers getting pissed up on cheap booze offers before going to the equally bad selection of nightclubs upstairs.
