Hemlock Stone, Wollatonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The pub has obviously tried to improve it's image and become more upmarket, which to some extent has happened. Unfortunately the quality of the female barstaff spoils the new image, it brings it back down to the level of "dated scruffy pub" that it had become before the refurb. Change the barmaids is my advice.

awful place, terrible decor, too many under-age drinkers, too much modern lager and no decent bitter

Nice old pub with a dart board. Friendly staff and lagers that will knock you of your feet. good deal on foods, thats why we come down from college every friday morning to eat here. They have two wide screen tvs which they use to good effect by promoting football matches and other sporting activities throughout the year. Has a nice garden to sit in, quiz night and the odd disco party.

Great place, when I was little girl, lovely garden and very pleasant - thats my memories hope they stay that way.
