please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Generally the food in 'Table Table' places is fine and I have never had a problem with the meals at the Mersey Farm. It is pleasant inside and spacious enough that you don't feel crammed in when sitting down for a meal. On one occasion though the jug that had the cream in to accompany dessert had gravy stains in, which was a bit offputting and showed it hadn't been washed properly. Fair enough it would have been machine washed, but whoever decanted the cream into it must surely have noticed! While not mega expensive, it's not bargain basement and I expected better for the price. When I went to settle the tab it seemed more expensive than I expected, but I know things can creep up when a few of you are eating and adding drinks on etc. Only when I got home did I have a good look at the receipt and found I was charged for something I shouldn't have been. Like with the dirty jug, this comes down to attention to detail. On a later visit, also having a meal, while looking at the menu one of the waiters must have come over about three times to tell us what the soup of the day was, which of course we found highly amusing! Can't remember what real ales were on, but I had no issue with the selection or quality of the drink on my visits.

Not sure why my lady friend and myself were referred to as "guys" by your staff. Surely you didn`t think she was some sort of sex pervert (transvestite or worse)?
Please remember "guys" refers exclusively to the male sex.
As for the beef and mushroom pie, it was dreadful, consisting of more pastry than filling and the "meat" part of the filling was at least half fat.
I do not expect a proper restaurant meal at an establishment like yours, but I did think it would be better than a pub meal. Unfortunately it was worse.
Please improve the quality of your food for anyone else visiting your establishment, as I personally will not return.

The food in this pub is dreadful, and thankfully not much of it. It used to be Ok but recently it has dived to the truly awful. The service is also poor, our waitress was slow and miserable. (Although others looked better). The waitress did not know the difference between a beer and a larger! Not worth another visit.

This has now had a refurb, and a good one too.The indoor play area has gone ,which the kids were,nt happy about, its very designer and i like the way they have enclosed each table to give it that personal touch.Nice varied menu with good service.

Beer nice but pricey, food basic but it is somewhere to take the kids when you fancy a pint and they fancy an hour or so in the indoor play area.

Plenty of ball pools, slides etc to try and the chance to take your drinks in and sit and watch plus the area is seceurity monitored for extra safety.

Having seen the kid's party food, I don't think Brewster the Bear will be getting our custom on junior's next birthday

Large family restaraunt/bar

Children Friendly - with play area inside and outside.

Food is reasonably priced as are drinks.

There is an adult only area too.
