Reopened a few weeks back, nice refurb quite busy food wise the nite I was in, didnt find the staff very friendly, but the beer was fine, it would be worth another visit

Why has this pub got an 8.3 rating ?
Is it open or is it shut ? Who knows. I thought BITE was about BEER and not food.
Got fed up going all the way fro Southport to Ainsdale on my mobility scooter to find no cask ales on and the excuse 'we've run out' when I was the only customer.

the arion has now re-opened with a new couple jen and gary..very friendly atmosphere good home cooked traditional menu 12-2 and 5-9. quiz night every monday.....good do will def be bk again

Looks like pub has gone to the wall, shame as nice place with good food and friendly staff.

This pub serves realy good food from 12-3 and 5-9 week days and all day sunday. The sunday roast is very popular so get their early.

Typical 60's suburban pub/restaurant. Quiet early doors. Guest ales are usually OK.

Large brightly-lit pub with separate restaurant area. Not bad, not great either.
