Nice traditional pub with welcoming bar staff / landlady. Nice session beers available.

nice pub away from the town centre, reasonable beers, friendly welcome and a good garden by a stream. tv, darts and bar games.

Very friendly pub, Dog and Children friendly too. Garden is wonderful. You don't need to be "in" with the regulars, they are more than happy to see new faces and to welcome them!

This is wonderful pub with the most fantastic beer garden leading on to the River Chess, the ale and lagers are top condition and staff are very friendly, lovely old style pub

Always a smile on a friendly face behind the bar! Best garden for miles, dog & child friendly, no food so you can bring your own if you want - the best chippie in Chesham is about 600 yards away.

Seems a bit snooty and pretentious. I think you need to be 'in' with the regulars before you're accepted as a friend in here. The beer is in good condition - there just isn't a particularly exciting selection. A gorgeous building but as a pub it's a bit of a disappointment.

Quite a walk from the town centre and station but worth it. A good atmosphere - especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Open 'til midnight at weekends. The bar staff are very nice and friendly. Worth a visit.

Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Semi-rural pub with open fires for those chilly evenings and a wonderful riverside garden for the warmer weather. You are welcome to bring your own food, be it a picnic or something to cook on the gas BBQ
