Walking back to my hotel. Looks like a place to investigate and a large sign shows they have tribute. Alas, it hasnt made it from cornwall. Had a ropey pint of adnams. Two nice people playing darts soon left, leaving me with one other punter, the landlord and a barman. Liked the fox with a fag.

Been in a few times. Good Tribute but this place could be a lot better. Bit cliquey but perhaps the position of the bar makes it feel that way. Central and lined with regulars. It has the feel of a pub that is a bit neglected but the landlord is nice enough.

used to be lovely in here but now the dealers have been allowed in its more of a meeting point for the down and outs of the village. shame

used to be one of my favourite pubs before it closed

very local feel to it and everyone in there is very friendly. beer is quite good although the lager could be a bit colder.

defo one of the old school classic pubs that you dont see many of

A pub that has seen better days, attested to by the dusty pump clip gravestones of the real ale they no longer serve hooked across the top of the bar.

TV vs jukebox death match on the weekday evening when I was there, and 2 other customers as well.

Pub boasts cricket and darts team, plus a charity book exchange.

A local-pub. Find a space at the bar if you can; ring-side seats occupied by the regulars.

Decorated in a mustard colour theme above waste height to hide the nicotine stains.

Very friendly service free bar-snacks if your face is known. Bombardier, London Pride, Fosters, Stella, and Strongbow on tap.

Second bar at the rear, and beer garden at the side. Could do with a touch of paint and some repair (seems to have been untouched since the 50s).

Great place to stop-off on a Motor Rally/Treasure Hunt for those vital beer-mats.

Mostly harmless.

Only been here a couple of times but I love this place. Its what I call a proper little locals boozer with lots of character. Usual courage ales plus Bombardier and my favourite, "MILD" on draught!!!! Always found staff and customers friendly. Hope this one gets missed by the developers.
