Cracking pub.
Friendly efficient bar staff and a decent clientele that are friendly as the bar staff.
No real ale, but the keg version of Green King IPA was nice enough.
Best pub in the area but a country mile

Good Victorian pub, not as bad as it first seems from outside. Good spot for a friendly pint and watching the racing. One of the few pubs in the area full of real peopl. Friendly managment, great service and cheap.

Quite a friendly pub with good bar staff and now they've started selling real beer even better.

It's good to have a pub doing real ale around here at last. Speckeld Hen was fine and then ran out but the IPA was ready to go. Seems quite friendly but it can get a bit noisy when the football is on.

Well this Greene King pub does now have real ale. Last night it was IPA and Old Speckled Hen, though I hear they switch it. Both beers were very good and this place has a decent friendly atmosphere. The woman serving behind the bar was cheerful, seemed to know the regulars and was quick to serve. Nice to have a pub in N17 with some decent beer, I'll be back.

A Greene King pub with no real ale! They say there is 'no market for real ale here', despite being a short walk from Camra's north London pub of the year The Oakdale. Despicable company dumbing down its pubs to cater for lagerboys and girls. Despite all of this its an average 'local pub' serving the usual bland multinational brands in a very smoky environment.

Recently been refurbished. Tastefully done and not too poncy.
