Food over the last 2 months has been very good. You can eat in the bar or a small restaurant. The new chef has made this a place worth going to.

The Five Bells is a great traditional pub with a fine atmosphere. Steak night on a Wednesday is excellent value 11.95 for 2 steaks and all the trimmingS.
Very hospitable landlord and well worth a visit.

It's in Lincolnshire not Cambridgeshire(but only just)! Not a bad pub at all, friendly staff and regulars, decent beer and reasonable food, just as a pub should be.

First visit to a pub and saw the landlord being very rude to what appeared to be a local ,shame as the atmosphere seemed nice to that point, also ate there very disapointing to say the least. Will not be going back there. The 1 point is for the atmosphere.

I totally agree with everyone that has written about the landlord, but THERE IS A NEW LANDLORD NOW!!!!

Visit the pub its a good little pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Also there is a chance if you do visit that you will meet the famous legend that is Smythode, if your lucky enough to meet him then make the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Very nice country pub with a good mix of age groups. John and Teresa are new to the pub and have been at the helm since March 2005. Both very pleasant and relaxed. The beer and the food is top notch. If you hav'nt been, then do.

Someone rated this pub zero. If this ones zero, I know many that are minus ! Nicely refurbished pub in quiet village Landlady very welcoming, but Landlord less so. Greene King IPA was average.

i found the land lord very rude, and arrogant. his wife was very pleasant and attractive. the food was not at all what i expected. i have spoke to other people and they all share my opinion that if the land lord carrys on this way he will not last to long.
