This place was closed the previous evening when we went by (A Tuesday evening, but not late), however on the Wednesday it was open and the Hobgoblin we tried was spot on. I think there may have been Ringwood on also. Didnt have food but saw some and it looked excellent. Friendly bar man, real fire, no complaints.

So second up on the crawl (previous was Lord Wimborne). Decent enough little boozer. Limited ales (Ringwood Best only on pump). If you like a pub that isn't too busy on a Saturday lunchtime, and you like to socialise with an older clientele, then this is the place. Makes Cocoon look like Kindergarden Cop. Good point is the widescreen TV and Pool table. Bad point no music. Next pub Pure Drop.

Good little locals' pub, but beer horrendously expensive.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere with a good menu. A nice change from the chain pubs.

Lovely locals pub with friendly staff and quick service. Even on a busy Saturday night. Definately worth a visit.

Wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised. Packed at Sunday lunchtime, although mainly with OAPs having a cheap roast.

This pub is nothing special. Pool table, dart board ,locals and beer as good as anywhere. So why is it so expensive.
