user reviews of All Bar One, Sheffield

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

As previously, this bar offers little in regards to atmosphere, anyone visiting Sheffield would be so much better advised on seeking out many of the other more interesting places in the city centre. They do now have both Black Sheep and Doom Bar on offer however, yet both were off on a recent visit - once again resulting in choices of only ogverpriced continental lagers or Guinness.
Very Poor and really not worth bothering with.

nice city centre bar with good selection of foreign lagers and two real ales(black sheep and doom),friendly service and nice relaxed atmosphere, not cheap though 6/10

Excellent choice of wines and fantastic tapas style menu.

Nice atmosphere, no dregs of society hanging about - bliss !

An average sort of pub that doesn't bother to serve any kind of beer at all. Fine if you like lager, Guiness or a variety of overpriced cocktails, but where is the token beer...I am afraid this lets it down badly.
Nothing special.

It's part of a national chain and is pretty much the same as other branches. Food is on the whole rather good. A major plus point is that you don't get the council estate riff raff that frequents so many regular type pubs.

Good enough for a meeting place. The selection of beers you'd expect from an All Bar One. Continental beers in the main but all of a decent quality. Weekend nights it can get rammed with suits but mid week it's perfectly pleasant.

Tolerable but overpriced and unexciting range of beers. Food decent, but if you like this sort of bar, try Platillos over the road.

Yes it's an All Bar One. Yes it's a national chain...

But in the last year or so that I've been going in here, I've never had a bad experience. It doesn't get the drunken chavvy louts that some All Bar One's might get. There's a nice relaxed atmosphere, which is good!

Draught beers include Schneider Weisse and Edelweiss.

Wicked, love it here. Good food, good wine.

you get what you pay for. staff/service have always been prompt & friendly, good selection of continental beers/lagers. Scores a very low rating on the drunken d***head meter on weekend evening, which can only be a good thing considering some of the surrounding pubs.

bit poncy

So so - does everything weve come to expect of an ABO with better range of beers and wines than some of them and cheaper prices than London ABOs. Lots of 'beautiful people' in attendance.

Horrendous. Wetherspoons for the middle manager.

A fery busy place between 12 and 2 as all the business men and women pile in for a drink and some food. Genreal talk is of share prices, Stealth tax, where the next 10,000 is coming from etc...

Good place to go if you on your own or with friends.

Bit expensive, but a good selection of vino, and some good premium bottled lagers, prevalence of beautiful people and coined up types means beardy camra free zone! and good food too
