WORST pub I have ever been in, and I've been in a few! Food - inedible, toilets - filthy and smelly, staff - not bad, landlady - VERY VERY RUDE! We will never go in this pub again. Went in for a nice sunday meal with family. Football was on so absolutely rammed, I dont think they could have squeezed any more large screen TV's in there. People changing dirty nappies at the table, whilst other people ate. Landlady arguing over moldy food, not giving anyone any respect at all. What happened to the customer is always right??? Not in this pub. I used to go in this pub years ago and it was lovely, not any more, really disappointing and not great for the locals to go to. I have given it one point, for the one polite member of staff - NOT the landlady/manager. This is literally steps away from our house, and we would rather walk into Northenden than go in there again - NEVER!

this pub would be brilliant if run by a manager who actually cared , the toilets were broke last week , the food is DISGUSTING and the manager serves it to the customers in dirty tops , he looks very unclean , he slams downs the plates and talks to people like they are dirt from under his shoe. my wife and i had the worst meal in here and was disgusted by the apparent use of illegal substances blatently in front of us , i thought we were in a lovely village pub before our holiday but it was something from shameless , the company john barras would and will be informed of this , never enter this public house

My Wife & I moved into the local area 14 months ago & made this pub our local, with regular weekly visits, we thought it had a friendly atmosphere & was a comfortable place to eat & drink in. On 24th November whilst enjoying a drink we asked the barman about the New Year's Eve event & was told that they had just started to sell tickets @ 5 each but were only selling around 120 of them due to the size of the pub, We returned today, 2 days later, with the intention of purchasing tickets & I approached the barmaid who in turn asked the landlord, who then looked me up & down, then told the barmaid to tell me most were sold only a few left to come back nearer the time. I told the barmaid I wont be coming back! I felt insulted, I am good enough to have in their pub all year round but not on New Year? Obviously a very clicky place! I will be contacting the brewery & making a complaint regards to this. My wife & I work hard & we are & our money are as good as anyone elses!

It's a hole. Went in for the first time on a Saturday evening, and was greeted by a scene that wouldn't have been out of place in Phoenix Nights. Crooning singer, drunk leery old blokes (one of whom 'jokingly' slapped my girlfriend - lovely). Large beer garden, with outdoor TV. Presumably that's to set dogs on newcomers in, although I'll admit that's just a guess.

I go here reguarlly but only for the beer as I would not eat here since the manager took over.
The urinal in the Gents is stained and smells of vomit and its been like this for Months.
The saying goes, you can tell if the kitchens are clean by looking at the toilets
No food for me thank you,Beer only

Visited this pub this evening, with my Husband, Daughter and 4 year old Grandaughter, what a disaster. After waiting one hour for a meal which was ordered and payed for. We had to ask where our meals were. Only to be told the electronic machine was not working so the kitchen never knew about the order. I asked for our money back. The manager was the most ignorant, rudest person I have ever met. He more or less blamed us for not asking where our meal was!!!! although nobody else was waiting for a meal. His attitude is not acceptable and his customer service skills were nill.

I have been here a couple of times as a meeting place when ive been going on work do's as a couple of the girls i worked with lived nearby.

Not really my type of place but it is fairly nice and the people arent that bad either.

its clean and the drinks are priced at a reasonable prices.
