Awful food. Awful beer. Awful pub. Bar staff are quite friendly but the landlady most certainly isn't. Has the makings of a good little pub, when under new management.

Food not as good or varied ( not much homemade)
Beer not as good either
landlady and barstaff very friendly but one or two unsavoury customers !

Just visited for the first time the other day,great pub with really good traditonal ales,good atmosphere and good freshly cooked food at great prices,i got a steak and kidney pie and the wife had macroni and cheese all for under 5 pounds!Best pub in hillmorton by far!

I like this pub. Its on my regular walking route through Rugby so i go there often. It is quite a traditional pub. The staff are friendly and the music they play is loud enough to hear if you want to but quiet enough not to annoy if you dont. The juke box is ok as well. I've never seen a beer garden though!
