I quiet like the Gamecock expect wheelchair access is poor. Nice staff and the beer is good

Having been back several times, the layout is fab in the terms of being seperated from others. Really good beers on, but the pricing always leaves me with odd coppers. Lack of females as one expected.

Surprisingly good Timothy Taylor's Landlord considering the pub is very sterile and the barman seemed astonished to see me in some way - I can't account for it but his entire attitude connoted surprise at my existence, especially in his pub. Perhaps it's because I'm not a local.

Pub must of had a revamp, very clean and tidy. A locals pub, but nice pees. New landlady and a good few new staff how are very easy to talk to. Good evening, good food and great real ale.

m8s local, went there, had a comfortable evening, with good drinks, free grub and halloween cocktails. ive had the initation of being attacked by the handryer. i didnt see anything wrong with the place to be honest!

Obviously this pub rates very low on the priorities of the brewery (Sprit group). Quite simply the most disgusting pub I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. After talking to some locals (who are obviously there for each others company rather than the pub itself), they tend to get drop outs of society running this pub in the form of landlady's and landlords. The worst pub I've been to in the whole of Greater London. At the request of the local's (to whom I mentioned this website), the requests are as follows: dart board, complete refurb, toilet seat, running water, toilet paper for the ladies. If H&S ever get wind of this, may the spirits help the spirit group!

This renovation seems a long time in coming. I popped back in there the other day: the staff seemed friendly enough but I came away vaguely depressed.

Could do with a full blown overhaul. It could then be a great local. At least they have recently introduced some good sensible real ales. Frank

horible pub, horible people. no crumpet on show a dive in every respect
|
New manager now (Jill) and busier in the evenings than it used to be. Friendly though, and the service is good. The low prices make up for the lack of choice on beers! Quieter at Lunchtime, but the steak was good.

The new owners (Spirit Group) almost tried to "drag the place up". It is, and will always remain, a "locals local", if only because of the location (no "passing trade"). A "typical" pub with three bars, accommodating all sorts of people. Very friendly, if slow to serve at times, mainly due to lack of staff. The replenishing of beers that have run out at the pumps needs attention. This pub has been sadly neglegted over the past few years.

A very nice pub full of locals, friendly staff, and good beer one drawback is that it is in need of redecoration quite badly now but with the pub now being sold to a new brewery they may finally get round to that.

Very much a locals pub,There are three seperate bars, the public bar being the better of the three. There are two pool teams playing out of here.
