It was crap when it was opened - a total dive, almost as if the owners didn't give a monkeys about keeping the place in a reasonable state.
Closed down, and good riddance!

Closed down, and has been for about six months now. Still available for rent as a pub, should anyone want to reopen Chingford Mount's watering hole for chavs, Spurs hooligans and failed karaoke singers. At least that would keep them out of the other locals.

Used to like this place better when the police raided it for dealers on a monthly basis and the 15 year-old slappers from Rushcroft used to put out in the bogs.

There are far better places to spend your night out and your money. The wet carpets are a must see. Bad atmosphere and not very friendly. But some of the staff were OK.

The pub recently re-openned and is very impressive. A huge transformation from what it used to be with a whole new interior and exterior. It is strictly over 25'sand it seems that there is Live Entertainment all weekend, I recently attended a comedy night which was brilliant. I definately reccomend this pub, especially for locals so that they can see the transformation from a rough house to a warm house.

the only place i know where i had to put a deposit on the pool Q's because they were being hidden behind the bar due to constant breakages and injury.great juke box though,so 1/10.
