Excellent, friendly and homely pub with great Real Ales. A nice location high up above Oxenhope and good, if not expansive, views from the seating at the front of the pub.

lovley little pub with great food. A must for locals and passing trade frendley staff and a warm welcome. and a well kept celler

Beer good, food good, and a pleasant yard out the front with splendid views of the surrounding hills. Cosy inside too (on the off-chance it rains).
Three real ales on offer in good condition. About fifteen minutes' walk from the railway station, with an uphill element in the latter stages to hone one's thirst. I have seen buses in the vicinity too.

Still a marvellous pub - the beer is truly outstanding. The food too, is excellent. Guinness and ale pie was like digging yourself out of a meat avalanche. However, I wish Kevin The Teenager who serves on a saturday evening would crack a smile now and again.

excellent food, great ales on handpump and the service as very good as well. I reccomend the steak and ale pie as it is delicious and fairly priced.

I think this place is becoming my favourite pub. Very busy last night (saturday) but still plenty of seating. The Taylor's Landlord must be among the best available anywhere. Each pint looks like a work of art.
Oh yes... the barmen do the adding up in their heads, nom matter how big the round.

Friendly and with excellent food. Landlord was rushed off his feet but couldn't have been more helpful. Black Sheep, Taylor's Landlord, Greene King IPA and (the rare) Tetly Dark Mild on Handpump. A real fire is the icing on the cake. Good stuff.

It is a good local pub with friendly people and a regular selection of guest ales. House ales include IPA Green king, Timothy Taylor Landlord and John Smiths. I encountered good friendly barstaff including Jonny who was extremely knowledgable and helpfull.

Probably one of the friendliest pubs in the area, a good mix of regular locals and visiting drinkers. Excellent food at affordable prices ( the best steak pies for miles )and a great sunday lunch with fresh organic vegetables cooked to perfection,Peak times can be very busy for food so its always worth a phone call to avoid missing out, if your calling on spec be sure to arrive early. The landlord takes good care of his beer and offers a good selection of real ales currently, Green King IPA, Taylors Landlord, John Smiths and Tetleys Dark Mild.
