Excellent Pub, and restaurant. Lovely place to sit with a beer next to the river. There is a lovely walk from the rear of the property also. One of the best in Warwick.

Good selestion of drinks and a nice environment but dont sit near the bar as you get drowned out by the noise of glass cleaning! Pricey but very pleasant. Would go again. 2 ales on tap one local.

Yes, it's quite pricey but when you consider the building and the location it all makes sense.
I've had some lovely meals here with friends, family, colleagues and business customers. It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll have a pleasant experience.

In the summer months, it is wonderful to sit out on the terrace and sup a nice pint - yes, the beer is nice. Nothing spectacular, just nice. But this place isn't about the beer............. it's lovely.

With a delightful location in a converted water mill next to a weir, a pool of canoodling ducks and swans and a sunblushed terrace, this place ticks a lot of boxes. The food, served either in the friendly restaurant or bar, is of very high standard and the choice is admirably broad. There are also a couple of good ales on tap.

So, the quibbles would concentrate on the makeover of the bar - primary colours as if Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen had been let loose - a notion of what's "trendy" that you would expect from someone living in a Warwickshire village - the decor isn't dramatically offensive, just reminscent of a theme bar. Added to that, the piped music is the worst kind of soft jazzy stuff that one associates with that Noughties phenomenon, Mondeo Man. All this said, well above average.

Beautiful building, wonderful location, friendly staff. The food is rather good & the restaurant area overlooks the river so is quite delightful. A little more expensive than average but undoubtedly worth it. To be honest I feel like I'm treating myself when I go there, even if it's just for a pint. Defintely worth going out of your way to visit.
