Went in on a Sunday afternoon, seemed to be the meeting place for the village youngsters and a few of the local "characters"... a lot of beer"zombies" in who were obviously at the end of a long weekend!

Nothing too bad the ale was reasonable but with a lot better places a short walk away I would not bother with this pub unless you are on a mission to do all the pubs in the village.

Popped in for a pint but beer was pretty average and I really don't want Cornish or Suffolk beer in Gloucestershire when there are so many local brews available. A few younger locals in and I would agree with the comment that this might not be the place to be on a weekend evening.

Had been looking for ages to find a pub serving food after 2pm mid-week. This one was - so in we came.
We only had sandwiches and a steak baguette. Both ok. My pint of Wychert from Vale brewery went down well.
It was quiet but I get the feeling from previous reviews that I would not want to visit in the evening.

Didn't go in as it was chock full of noisy music & teenagers on a Friday night - nothing wrong with that if it is your kind of thing of course but i'm a bit too old for it! Could see through the window that they had Tribute & Doom bar, so maybe worth a try during the day.

Best point about this pub is the county standard pool table, very impressive. Beer is good (Doombar & Tribute) and the jukebox was pretty good especially as the landlady had no problem cranking it up to high volume.

Pub lacks character or atmosphere really but it is open late and is fine for a drunk pool/music session.

I visited this pub in December 07 and it served Wadworth and Sharps beers, but they were not to a very good standard. Popular with young locals and was a bit noisy. There was a dining area where it was quiet though.
