Had a lunch and a pint with my son - meals were hearty in size and quality was fine - very fresh salad/veg and prices were cheaper than recent visits to other pubs in the vicinity. Ale good choice and well kept. Quite a few pensioers eating there and they know there business!

Went here at lunchtime with another couple, there were 4 ales on the handles, my 6X was excellent. Although this pub has had some redecoration in the recent past, it still retains its character as a country pub made like they used to! We all had different items from the menu which had a good selection and the prices were most reasonable. All meals were plentiful and of good quality. There were not may others in the bars, although there were a number sitting outside in the sunshine - didn't see anyone who could be described as pikeys. There's also a campsite at the back of the pubalthough no one was using it. We'll be back!

PIKEY CENTRAL, if you want a dodgy deal with no vat added come here

Use this pub at Christmas after many years absence. Friendly, very good ale and prices no worse than average for this neck of the woods. Proper public bar, clean but casual and that rare thing in Country eating dominated territory - a Dart Board! Worth a visit.
