Fantastic pub- very much old country pub feel from what is a new building.
Beer seems to be well kept, and they seem to have 2-3 ales on most of the time.

Really nice pub with great food & decent ales - I tried a very nice Vale Gravitas & my friend had Hook Norton bitter with our food (not forgetting the wine). Only one issue is the Hook Norton pint was presented with a head occupying about a quarter of the glass! They topped it up Ok but that's a bit sloppy I think.

Cracking pub cum restaurant - bit harsh reviews from the previous two posters. I found an eccletic mix of people here.

Yes it's more foody than most but the Tribute amongst the other beers was superbly kept.

Food is good but expensive though portions are generous.

Worth a visit.

It's no so much a pub, as a restaurant with a bar. The landlord is a very good chef, but the food is expensive. If your looking for a pub, don't bother.

Turned up on a Harley Davidson, which clearly did not go down well with the pub. Walked in and it was like Royston Vasey. All stopped briefly what they were doing to stare! Distinctly unwelcome feeling which was added to by the staff and manager, who appeared shocked that we were daring to be there! And despite there being empty tables, no, there was no room for us to eat! Quelle surprise! Very bad and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

26th January - Took my Mother-in-law for dinner for her birthday - there were 5 of us. The staff were brilliant, the food was out of this world. We have eaten there a few times before, everytime has been fantastic food and fantastic service.

The waiter that looked after us was so professional, but in a really friendly way, nothing was too much trouble for him, or the rest of the staff. We were really made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door.

The price was in line with a great restaurant meal, no more than I would have expected to pay for this level of service and quality of food.

I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone that appreciates good quality food and great service. We will certainly be going back, time and time again.

Thank you to all the staff at the Betsy Wynne, it is very much appreciated, especially when you get a phone call the next day from your Mother-in-law to say how much she enjoyed the food, the surroundings and of course the company!

Very well run pub with good food, fine real ales, pleasant decor and a friendly atmosphere. It's in my top ten pubs within 10 miles of Aylesbury.

Just had an early lunch here with some female friends. We will definitely be back. Good food at sensible prices, good beer (yes a female beer drinker) good friendly service, extensive menu. All in all a very pleasant experience.Highly recommended.

Really nice place, and an interesting building. Food was excellent and good ales on. I found the service pretty good, though it was a quiet lunchtime.

Definately worth a visit if you're in the area.

Wll, food was good, beer was well kept and served. But at the end of the meal it took an age to attract someone's attention to pay the bill. It all went south from ther on in. I would have rated this pub higher, if it were not for that.

We recently had lunch at The Betsey Wynne pub in Swanbourne. This pub displays may plaques confirming it's excellent conversion from I guess an old house or farm building,

The interior in light and airy, making a really pleasent environment.

We had lunch and a couple of pints of real ale each and the bill was a modest £24, which I thought to be excellent value, considering the quality and freshness of the food. I am told that all the meat is sourced locally from farms within the Swanbourne Estate, which is great news.

In summary. Well worth a visit.

We only called in to this pub on the off chance of a decent early evening bite to eat whilst dirving past. What a find!
- Great pints of ale.
- Truly excellent food: warming venison casserole was exactly what was needed on damp Nov evening. (House wine was great too - shame I forgot to catch the name)
- Staff were courteous, friendly and couldn't seem to help enough.

Will certainly be going back.

Excellant pub in an excellant location. Fantastic food and beer and a good selection of wines. Is a non smoking venue as well. Kids loved playing in the garden and adults had a well deserved beer after a long bike ride. Beautiful decor as well. Well worth a visit.

New pub just opened locally, so far so good! Nice atmosphere plus is a free house and therefore regular guest ales!! Worth popping in if in the area!!
