I have just had a completeley wasted evening in this ''establishment'' to celebrate my 30th birthday. I arrived at 8.30pm, in smart but casual attire, the doormen both let me in with no comment - 1 of whom I have encountered in different environments too. At 10.30pm, I was advised my ''attire was not suitable for the establishment, you can stay but only outside''. Fair enough, I didn`t want too much hassle, I`d had a couple of drinks and didn`t want to get into an argument. at 11pm, desperate to use the gents I asked the same doorman who had asked me to drink outside if this was okay, he told me to ''**** off and go on the beach!''. My immediate comment was that if I were caught by the police I would be charged with indecent exposure due to the seafront toilets being closed. His attitude then became even worse and he physically escorted me completely off the premises, nearly throwing me INTO the middle of the road and telling me'' if you don`t f*****g calm down i`ll throw you into that bush!!!'' I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY!!!!! AVOID IT!!!! I, my family and my friends (of whom I have many) are, or should I say, were, 95% of the custom of this place. not......any........more!!! if it were actually possible, i`d give this place a -10 out of 10!

Popped in here on our winter stay back in January. They had any 3 pints of j smiths/fosters/sbow for 4!!!!!! I don't mind no real ale at that price! good pub/club atmosphere too, 7/10

We enjoyed a superb evening here watching (and singing along to) a Blues Brothers Tribute Band. Must be THE BEST tribute band to the Blues Brothers on Earth. Not many seats though, (we were lucky that no horrid football was on)! The toilets were filthy, you need wellies to go in to them.

thats funny because when I went in there I thuoght it was crap! too many 'YOUNGSTERS', and getting too many offers in there on a thursday , if you know wot I mean. As for the barstaff they are the most arrogant barman and bargirls I have ever come across on my travels.Fibbers above tom peppers was even worse, I thought it was school disco nite! I shall not be going there again.

I love Tom Peppers - whenever I'm in town (which is few and far between these days), you can be sure you'll run in to a friendly face and have a great time at TPs.
Top recommendation!!

Tom Peppers is a great night out on Tuesday,Thursday, and week ends. Pay a fiver on tuesday and thursday nights and you will get all your drinks two for the price of one!!! Then when your finshed there, go upstairs to Fibbers night club where what ever you pay to get in you get double back in drink vouchers!!! Have a good one Craig x

Quite possibly the youngest drinkers ever go there!! Its got a great atmos, but has changed a lot in the years its been around. Live entertainment and a nightclub upstairs. Pricey but ok as a tourist.
