Re-visited last week, and was amazed at the asking price of 3.25 for a pint of fosters. i can fully appreciate that we all need to make a living, but for that area, i found it a bit over the top, particularly nowadays when people are finding it hard. If publicans want to keep there customers out of the off licences and supermarkets when buying there booze, i suggest they hike up the costs of peanuts and crisps. But it's still a good pub despite that.

Good, friendly pub with karaoke and live music on Fridays/Saturday nights. Look out for The Bob Dylan Experience in particular for authentic electric Dylan and renditions of cover versions by Manfred Mann, The Byrds, The Rolling Stones and a brilliant version of Hendrix's 'All Along The Watchtower'

Agree with KMD, but if your an ex con, you may want to think twice,as it is frequented by the screws from the nearby belmarsh prison.

Very well presented pub in the middle of a housing estate. Do not be put off by the area. Very good bar staff. From the outside it is obviously a 1960/70's build but the inside is tastefully decorated as a village pub with lots of hanging brass utensils and mock tudor beams. For xmas/new year the outside is covered in an amazing blanket of lights. Only downer is the their habit of having karaoke on a Friday night.
