Watched the FA Cup final here, drinking Guinness with friendly locals Jimmy and Bob. The crowd reminded me a lot of the bunch in my local back home in Philadelphia. A pleasant place.

Kltsch, loud, quiet, never know one night to the next.BUT a great guy managing it, old style manager always there.Name Peter ?. Used to go there to eat as the food was excellent but the cook/chef has gone, great pity.Excellent for footie matches.

pete's great it's a shame the place is a gang hut for 18-30's now as you can see from the photo it's not unusual for said people to be outside shouting marks out of 10 and choruses of get your tits out for poor unsuspecting females walking past to the bus stop then at kicking out time kicking off at the chinese or putting the bus stop through.marvelous.

Fantastic old pub. My favourite - great for a football match, always get a good atmosphere. Friendly, easy going bar staff and locals. highly recommended.

All I can say about this place is "TOP BANANA!!!!!!"
A fine example of a sterling hostelry, as Mr Thomas says, it's perfect to frequent after a hard day's toil.

Lovely pub, friendly atmosphere, I often pop in after a hard day's toil down in Sugden Road.
