Now reopening with the previous landlady of The Royal Oak at Kings Bromley taking over. Mary did a great job at The Oak and so it's good news for Longdon as this pub has been mothballed for some time.

I'm utterly disgusted by this review to be quite honest with you, during this night in question me and my boyfriend where enjoying a delightful Cajun chicken and a belly pork, both were cooked to perfection! The night was rather entertaining with a fire show, which was all in good fun as nobody was hurt and the fire was put out very quickly and it certainly was not projected across the room towards another customer, which couldn't of occured anyway as we were the only other diners in the lower restaurant.

Our night was slightly disturbed I will admit, but this was only due to your table being boisterous and obnoxious towards the waiting staff, we had overheard the conversation regarding your moules mariniere, why anyone would eat them directly out the shell is quite baffling in itself, however as the shells are all together within a well presented bowl it's hardley surprising they would break up slightly. The manager of this pub is also the chef, there were many meals pouring out the kitchen throughout the evening so it is no surprise she could not respond to your queries at that time. The Scottish waiter, who is leading the floor staff had approached you and dealt with the situation and since you had all your food free when it was a rather large party, I thought this was overly generous.

We have visited the swan with two necks in longdon multiple times now and we find everytime we eat, the food is delectable and we are always greeted with a smile what ever the weather! I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone of any age, it is situated in a peaceful village with great scenery, and especially in the summer the atmosphere outside on the decking makes for a very sophisticated friendly place to be. Now we feel a major part of the village!

Words simply can't describe the service provided by the Swan With Two Necks this evening. Strangely enough the night started out reasonably entertainingly. The waitress had managed to set fire to a napkin which she then went on to try and stamp out with her feet. Unfortunately this failed and she ended up flicking the fire lit napkin at a customer. They saw the funny side, which was lucky for them.

Anyway, moving onto the food service. The Mussel starter contained shards of broken shell. The waiter got the mains order wrong and some meals had to be sent back to be changed. The manager rolled his eyes while picking up the food to take back. We then ordered some more drinks which came with lip stick marks around two of the glasses. This was just the beginning.

After this we went on to order desserts. These came out 20 minutes later and these were all frozen solid. These were sent back and we asked for the bill. At this point my father went out to speak to the manager and we heard voices from the kitchen making insulting comments about our party. This was totally unacceptable and the proprietor was called for. At this point she refused to come out and speak to us. This was truly amazing!!! The proprietor left her staff members to resolve the situation. In the end we we only paid for our drinks. The whole situation was particularly disappointing as we had especially chosen The Swan with Two Necks because of a beautiful meal and evening twelve months earlier.

Upon leaving we were asked by another couple whether we were happy with the service. We shared our experience with them and they were also extremely disappointed with the service. Needless to say we won't be returning to the Swan with Two Necks, Longdon.

this is a fantastic pub full of character and tradition.the beer is very well kept and the food is excellent.bathams on every friday and n,ked at the swan every saturday.all of the food is homecooked which is very rare and the landlady has brewed her own beer.the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The pub would be quite pleasant but the man who owns has no idea how to treat customers. An unnecessarily unpleasant evening.

The food and drink may be good, but the landlord could not be more offensive. Do try to visit when he is not there and avoid his quiz nights at all costs.

Quite the rudest landlord it has ever been my misfortune to come across! You really would not like this place if he is present, otherwise a quiet peaceful place.

New landlord and already it's Staffs pub of the year. That says a lot about the beer which is very well kept. Regulars are Tim Taylor landlord, Adnams and Deuchars IPA. Guest from Titanic, Church End, Archers, Abbeydale, RCH and others. Super fish and chips! The only minus piped music newly installed and annoying in the restaurant.
