this was always a bit hit & miss (more miss - service poor) now the Allerford & overpriced, needs to be more like Worlds End I feel to survive?

The Allerford Inn is open. The refurbishment was almost total. It reminds a lot of some bars in town, rather than a country pub.

An ad in the local press states this place will reopen soon under the name the Allerford.
Someones spent a great deal of money doing it all up.
The ad promises live music with tribute stars pretending to be Elton John, Rod Stewart Tina turner etc.
I shall look forward to avoiding this place in the future then.

I cycled past here today; no notice outlining any refurbishment plans, no sign of any activity. It looked very closed up to me

This pub is temporarily closed.
It will open in Summer 2007 after undergoing a �250,000 refurbishment and be re-named the "Allerford Inn" According to the anserwing machine.
