Looks small from outside but go's back a long way, very lively at weekends, no real ale, 6/10

years ago when it was the bee knees it was a good pub on several different levels. now a one level pub.next to wigan parish church.has it been said before along with harrys pub the worse 2 pubs in wigan if not england. no real ale and if it is cheap ale people want the moon (jd spoons) is less than 50 yds away

Typical of the chain.. watery cut price all day drinking means lots of pikeys and chavs. There are worse places in Wigan.. most of them on the same street. It's one saving grace is it's right next to the post office.. which means Thursday it's giro day in personal issue land.. NO!.. I don't want to buy any batteries.. or razor blades.. or a phone I saw you steal out of that blokes coat pocket 2 minutes ago...

A slightly less traumatic experience than Harry's bar down the road. Which means avoid.
