My 2nd pub of the day after a 30 minute walk from Bexleyheath.

Another tick from the 2015 GBG and on first impressions the pub doesn't look half as inviting as the Eardley Arms across the road.

Inside I'm given a warm welcome by the landlord and he even offers me a try of a couple of the ales before I make my decision on a pint of Elgoods Bee's Special @ 3.8%. Other ales available are Doombar, Spitfire and Brains SA Gold.

The interior is dark and pretty dated but it does have a homely feel and actually works.

All the clientele are local with clearly only me being the outsider.

A good pint and a another pub from the GBG ticked, next!

Great little pub. Very friendly staff and Punters and the Quiz on a Sunday is always a laugh. As for no pool table, there is no room for one!

Been in their a couple of times
Seems an ok place
Needed a life raft for the toilet though.
Bar seems to jut out a bit to much, but thats a minor gripe.
Beer is ok, service was good
Didnt seem cliquey to me
Quiz on sundays nights
People seem ok
Will go back again
Give it a bash......

I moved into Belvedere about three years ago, and the first week was consumed by a reconnaissance of the local watering holes, The P.O.W. was probably the third or fourth pub i stumbled upon; I cant speak for everyone, But i certainly always take my first impressions of a pub from the external decor, The hanging baskets, warm internal shelf lights glowing through the windows, clean net curtains, and a neutrally painted exterior, the entire exterior was cleverly illuminated including the signage; On entering, I Found that the outside decor had been transferred to the interior. An extremely clean, bright and welcoming pub,Although some may say a bit cliquey, i can assure you that it is definately not the case, Bar staff very smart and friendly,Beer spot on, glasses, mirrors, tables, and virtually everthing you can see is spotless, No live music or karaoke, they dont need it. lunches served at very reasonable prices, mainly business people during the day.

Oh yes, no damn pool table.
