Well organised on a match day - OK no real ale, but quick service and light snacks, and the best thing was just how close it is to Oxford United's stadium!

Old school type of pub, warm welcome always offered. Plenty of choice when it comes to drinks. A must visit pub if in the area. Brilliant on match days. Proper pub.

As pubs go this has to be one of the friendliest pubs it has been my pleasure to go in,good ale and good staff,

Excellent charity work through the football and regulars, never any trouble, frendly regulars who welcome hotel guests,away fans, beer garden lots of benches, provides real ales and ciders on match days, staff very good, relaxed set up.

This pub is one of the friendliest in the Country - and believe me I've been in a few. Not for the snob, but terrific if you're the gregarious sort. Great bar staff, excellent locals. On football days there's none better. Heaving with life and laughter.

Nice friendly pub. a stones throw from the Kassam stadium and is a great meeting point for oxford united supporters on match days. (young or old) however it doesn't only provide for our oxford united fans; as i find it just as welcoming on non footy days. I like to go there every so often and chill with friends for a few drinks in the week, have a laugh there the odd weekend and Enjoy taking the kids for the fun days that the landlord puts on for different occasions. I deff recommend the priory if you don't want busy clicky pubs who only have a smile for their locals. :O)

Top pub for footy. Great atmosphere and staff. BBQ`s, music, marquee etc. Family friendly, lovely pint of Thatchers. Should be more pubs like this for fans, keep up the good work!!

The best pub ever on match day. What the landlord dose and staff for all the football lads is 100% more than any pub in oxford will do for you

Hard working landlord does a great job running a very old building and it's location to oufc is awesome they provide a great match day experience bbqs music marquee bars real ales ciders off the farm San Miguel love it

I was staying at the Kassam Holiday Inn & looked into this pub on Saturday 10th Feb. No Real Ale - Hostile Atmosphere - Naff Decor - Would recommend avoiding this pub.
