Ordinary basic pub, good for Sky sports with screens dotted all over the shop. Usually a couple of real ales on, kept in reasonable nick. Friday and Saturday nights can be a bit boisterous, and just a little bit threatening at times. Saturday lunchtimes usually sees the hungover regulars slumped at the bar struggling to recall the previous night's antics. I've been in a lot worse.

Decent atmosphere, good place to watch sport. The odd numbnut but it's retained a cosy feel over the years.

Run of the mill boozer. Shows sky footie. On my visit the Black Sheep Ale tasted like it was fermented in a tramps rucksack.

Traditional city pub. Rugby memoribilia on the walls. Black Sheep well kept

Half of the railway 'workers' are camper than a camper van. All those pink jumpers make it great for all those nice boys out there. Beer ok though and not a bad boozer at all.
|
plenty of railway workers in here make it a good place for people with a good sense of humour and a love of footie & rugby.

Large pub, open to anyone, but with a small crowd of regulars, but nice enough.
