Only serves one real ale; Samuel Smith's Old Brewery Bitter.
Otherwise it's about three keg or four lagers.
Barman/Landlord and locals all okay.
Nice place to relax in the snug after traipsing round York.

Sam Smiths is not a favourite beer of mine but with change out of a fiver for three pints it soon could be !

Very pleasant Sam Smith's pub in their usual traditional, tasteful style, and with their usual excellent value for money prices. Has a main bar area with a lounge at one side and snug on the other, and a games room/public bar at the rear. Seems to appeal more to older customers.

I pleasant local based Samuel Smith pub. They have the usually range behind the bar, and the pub is set out in two rooms, bar and snug, very pleasant.
