Had lunch there today with my partner, Meal was great, and piping hot!! Service was fantastic and staff were very friendly and attentive. This is the first time we have been in here but WE WILL BE BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE!

nice town centre pub with several handpumps,the titanic lifeboat was perfect and only �2.40 7/10

Quite a decent 'local' type pub, the beer is generally in good condition and reasonably priced, however the building needs a bit of money spending on it; during some recent heavy rains the ceiling was actually leaking water onto the ground floor! Quite impressive for a 3 story building! Some of the bar staff need to look more presentable/less miserable.

This place is a pile of shite. They advertise one sporting event, then show something completely different because one sad b*****d decides they want to watch it in there instead of moving the 200 yards to the next pub which is showing it and when the barmaid is asked by the two or three people watching what was advertised why she just ignores you and goes to practice her permanent scowl. I will never go in there again

I was very disappointed with my last visit here. The "guest" beer was vinegar and when I pointed this out to the barmaid, she scowled and poured me one of the cheaper house beers, failing of course to refund me the difference.
