I couldn't agree more, with The Final Arbiter. This is taking things a bit too far after seeing this i didn't bother at all. There are excellent pubs around with good quality drink and food for a third of these prices. And some of them have wonderful settings to boot. Will i be trying, well got to the carpark and that's it for me.

30 a head! This is a Somerset pub, not a London hotel!
I'll bet they'll be pleased to see you back, as no one else would pay that!

Stopped off here on Saturday night looking for something to eat after a day out. Expected pub food (which would have been fine). What a wonderful surprise we got. Gourmet food - beautifully presented. Delicious. And reasonably priced too (30 a head). The staff were lovely - especially the landlord/chef. Really nice guy. Will definitely go back - in fact, planning our next visit already!

I worked behind the bar when this place was first opened, and served the first (paid for) pint. It was a good pub then, which was built to cater for the current trend, and the RAF Locking contingent from just down the road, but both that trend and clientele have long since gone, as has the appeal of this place. Last time I went there was definitely the last time I will be there.
