Promises much from the outside, with a great renovation. Wine and ales inside continue the good work (Harvey's v good). Why then have a bob Marley reggae di blasting out his bass laden nonsense on a Saturday evening? Not many of our fellow punters looked that impressed to see him set up, and once we finished our drinks we scarpered, which was a shame cos it was the best place we went to all night.

It's over the road from me an offers Jazz Manouche and Duvel. Not much to complain about there, then.

First time there... great atmosphere! Friendly staff who serve a great punch and some lovely cheese platters

Made my first visit to The Juggler last night, having recently moved in around the corner, and they really pushed the boat out with the Hallowe'en thing: incredibly cheap booze, appropriately-themed music, horror classics on the big screen, even free pumpkin pie and sausages. All credit to them for making the effort. Friendly staff, too. On first impressions, I'm glad to have it as one of my locals.

Yes, I did like this one. Only had a pint but there is a good feel about the place and when you've been pubbing as long as me, your feeling are rarely wrong.

Cracking pub. Kath and her team are excellent, regulars are a friendly bunch, regular music nights (I think the quiz night is on the back burner at the mo, but will check on that) AND you get free wireless access.
